Wren Gill drops from the eastern side of Little Harter Fell in south Cumbria to become the river Sprint. It is the fastest rising river in England.

Beyond Longsleddale the Sprint is joined by the Mint to become the Kent as it flows to the sea at Morecambe Bay.
